IT Procurement Specialist - System Integration

The IT Procurement Specialist oversees the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of hardware, software, and services needed for system integration projects. You will collaborate closely with vendors, internal IT teams, and project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement that aligns with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities - Analyze system integration requirements and translate them into procurement needs. - Identify and evaluate vendors for IT infrastructure, software, and integration services. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs). - Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure compatibility and compliance. - Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery and implementation. - Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance. - Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain. - Procurement expertise with experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management. - System integration knowledge with an understanding of IT architecture and interoperability. - Contract negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and manage risks. - Regulatory compliance familiarity with procurement laws and data security standards. - Strong communication and coordination abilities with interpersonal and documentation skills. Preferred Experience - 3-5 years in IT procurement or system integration sourcing. - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement platforms. - Exposure to large-scale integration projects such as cloud migration and automation. Tools & Platforms - SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar procurement software. - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Project management tools like Jira, Trello, and MS Project.
