Description
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the network infrastructure of the organization. This includes working with Windows, Linux, and iOS systems, as well as managing hardware devices like printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Your duties will involve performing network maintenance, system upgrades, and implementing network protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, and DNS. Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring uptime, reliability, and security will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be expected to provide Level-2/3 support for issue resolution, work within established configuration and change management policies, and collaborate with the security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures. Additionally, liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and maintaining CCTV cameras periodically will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-level networks is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, and a solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS is expected. Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools, as well as a CCNA certification, would be advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as food provision, health insurance, leave encashment, and Provident Fund. The job may involve morning shifts, night shifts, or rotational shifts. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Mohali, Punjab. A minimum of 2 years of experience in computer networking is required, and proficiency in English is preferred. A CCNA certification is mandatory for this role.
