Job Title: IT Literacy Trainer

Department: Training & Development / Information Technology
Location: Ranchi/UP/Bihar.
Reports To: Training Manager

Job Summary:

The IT Literacy Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance the digital skills and IT proficiency of employees, students, or community members. This role involves assessing training needs, designing tailored curricula, and delivering hands-on training sessions to improve users' understanding and effective use of computers, software applications, and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify IT skill gaps and training needs.
• Develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning content tailored to various skill levels.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions on topics such as:
• Basic computer skills (Windows, macOS)
• Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Internet and email use
• Cybersecurity awareness
• Use of cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
• Track and evaluate training outcomes and effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
• Support learners during and after training to ensure knowledge retention.
• Stay current with technology trends and training methodologies.
• Assist in the implementation of new software by providing user training and support.
• Maintain training records and reports for internal auditing and performance tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a trainer, teacher, or facilitator in IT or digital skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in a wide range of software applications and operating systems.
• Experience with instructional design and e-learning tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and technical support skills.
• Patience and ability to work with individuals of varying skill levels.

Desirable Skills:

• Certification in training or education (e.g., CompTIA CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer, or similar).
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience working in educational, nonprofit, or corporate environments.

Working Conditions:

• May require travel between training sites.
• Flexible working hours may be needed depending on class schedules.
• Combination of office-based and remote work, depending on training delivery methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
