IT Infrastructure Executive

Purpose of this Role:

• The ideal candidate shall have a proven track record of designing & maintaining Medium to Large scale IT infrastructure for manufacturing organizations. This role requires extensive knowledge and skills in Strategizing - Servers, networking, Information & Data security including Cyber security.
• Design, Implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions to support Manufacturing and R&D operations.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Ensure all IT infrastructure complies with industry regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to the pharmaceutical sector.
• Shall Manage active and passive networking components, including switches, routers, firewalls, and cable systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Implement and maintain information security measures, including cyber security protocols and privacy security standards, to protect sensitive data.
• Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IT infrastructure, providing timely support to minimize downtime.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Shall be Familiar in PLC/IPC Controls Systems for Manufacturing and QC Systems.
• Shall be able to understand Pharmaceutical Process Systems and their importance on Product Quality & Safety.
• Should be able to assess Systems gaps related to User Management, Data Backup, Hardware and Softwares (like Windows 8/7/XP) and recommend upgradation Strategies.
• Should be able to handle IT Budgets OPEX & Capex for projects.

Technical & Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in server management (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of active and passive networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls).
• Expertise in information security, cyber security, and privacy security.
• Knowledge in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Quality Process.
• Exposure on Various IT applications like SAP & other IT application
• Ability to work in a Cross Functional and Challenging Environment.
• Capable of Idea generation and Process Improvement Skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA, or equivalent are desirable.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V ..etc).
• Good Project management and exposure to Computerized Systems Validation.

Desirable (if any):

• The ability to read, write and interpret Guidelines and Standards related to GxP systems, Computerized System Validation and Audit Responses.
• Very good capabilities and experience in people management and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge in Operational Excellence will be an advantage.
• Should have worked in a Medium to Large-Scale Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry

Preferred Experience (Industry/therapy/function no. of years):

• Should have worked in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry during last 5 years.
