Job Description

We are looking for 4+years experienced candidates for this role.
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure.
  • Apply patches, updates, and security fixes regularly.
  • Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance.
  • Handle user access requests, system backup, and data restoration.
  • Support internal/external audits.
  • Participate in IT change and incident management processes.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, SOPs, and change logs.
Certifications :
  • Certifications: RHCSA / RHCE is an advantage.
Primary Skills :
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (Debian, RHEL, CentOS).
  • Experienced in server administration, including user management, permissions, and system hardening.
  • Familiar with patching and update management.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware / Hypervisor management and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
  • Experience in backup and restore procedures using Veeam, rsync, or cron jobs.
  • Sound understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewall basics).
  • Good understanding of firewall and VPN concepts.
  • Proficient in shell scripting and automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of version control and DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for application hosting and management.
