IT Generalist-Software, Networking & Surveillance Tech

As an IT Generalist at Keystone Security, you will join our growing team with a primary focus on software development, systems integration, and networking. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our office IT setup, addressing client tech needs, and monitoring security platforms. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining internal tools, dashboards, and automation scripts utilizing Python, Node.js, and SQL. You will also be tasked with managing network infrastructure such as VPNs, routers, and firewalls to ensure systems are scalable and secure. Additionally, you will support the integration and maintenance of client platforms and APIs used in video surveillance and monitoring. Providing basic IT support for office device setup, software installs, VoIP, and troubleshooting will also be part of your role. You will work directly with clients to assist with IT onboarding, remote access setup, and issue resolution. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining and auditing surveillance systems to ensure data security and assisting in cybersecurity best practices, system patching, and IT asset tracking. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 3-5 years of experience in IT support, networking, or software development. Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript, along with knowledge of network systems, are essential. Hands-on experience with cloud servers (AWS, Azure) and system monitoring tools is required. Exposure to video surveillance software or security monitoring systems would be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical teams are crucial. Any familiarity with security tech (VMS, alarm monitoring tools) and cybersecurity practices would be a bonus.
