IT Engineer, Lead

As an SCM Technical member at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for managing the Perforce SCM system in the Software Engineering IT team. With 6-8+ years of experience as a Perforce Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting Qualcomm's engineering innovations on a global scale. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, administering, and extending Perforce for software development purposes - Setting up and maintaining Edge Replica servers for load balancing and Business Continuity - Maintaining/Configuring Perforce SWARM & Code-Collaborator environments for Code Review - Defining and implementing security policies, LDAP groups, and Perforce protections with a focus on automation, security, and efficiency - Working with Splunk Business Intelligence tool to develop reports and monitoring for predictive analytics and self-healing - Defining, implementing, and improving workflows and processes including branching strategies, disaster recovery, and archiving - Integrating various tools in the DevOps toolchain to accelerate Engineering Tool team's velocity - Having a strong background in Linux System Administration and Storage concepts, along with decent knowledge of Network concepts Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor's degree As an equal opportunity employer, Qualcomm is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
