Description
Here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and systems. You will work on projects within the Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will report directly to our Senior IT Manager and youll work out of our Bangalore, India location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions that support Honeywells corporate-level functions and initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Mendix and Application Development Understanding of Mendix Development Environment : Familiarity with Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro, including their features, functionalities, and development lifecycle. Modeling Principles : Skilled in using visual tools to create applications, including domain models, microflows, and user interfaces. Business Logic and Workflows: Microflows and Nanoflows : Proficiency in designing and implementing microflows (server-side logic) and nanoflows (client-side logic) to manage application behaviors. Error Handling and Debugging : Knowledge of diagnostics and debugging processes in Mendix to ensure application reliability and performance. Data Management: Entity Model Creation : Expertise in creating and managing data entities, associations, and relationships within the Mendix data model. Database Integration : Understanding how to work with Mendix s built-in database and any external databases, including knowledge of SQL. Front-End Development Skills: User Interface (UI) Design : Ability to design intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Mendixs UI template and customization options. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript : While Mendix is low-code, a fundamental understanding of these web technologies can enhance the dynamism and responsiveness of applications. API and Integration Skills: REST and SOAP Web Services : Ability to integrate external services and applications using REST and SOAP APIs. Integration with Other Systems : Familiarity with integration techniques like OData and connectors to link with popular third-party services. 6. 6- Develop and maintain software applications and system 7. 7- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions 8. 8- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment 9. 9-- Troubleshoot and debug software issues 10 -Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field 3+ years of experience in software development and 2+ Years in Mendix Development Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, SQL Queries, Stored Procedure Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills WE VALUE Experience with Agile software development methodologies Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance best practices Familiarity with cloud technologies and services Understanding of software security principles and best practices
