The role of Zonal Head - Sales & Marketing involves overseeing business operations, targets, and team management within a designated zone. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure market presence, customer satisfaction, and business growth by leading the Counselling & Awareness team and collaborating with other departments. In terms of Business Operations, you will be expected to achieve Sales & Marketing targets, manage finances, approve expenses, and optimize resources to drive the performance of the zone. Team Management is a crucial aspect of this role, where you will recruit and train employees, update SOPs, and implement PIPs to ensure the team's efficiency and productivity. Compliance is another key area where you will be required to resolve grievances, ensure compliance with policies, and enforce necessary regulations within the zone. Conducting market research, executing campaigns, monitoring performance, and managing budgets will be essential for maintaining market Awareness. Stakeholder Management is also critical, as you will need to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, with an MBA being preferred. Proven leadership experience in educational management and 5 to 7 years" experience in sales management or business development, preferably in a multi-location capacity, are also necessary. Proficiency in CRM tools and market analysis, along with a strong understanding of IT education firms and a passion for improving the Indian education system, is required. Additional requirements include the ability to recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team, willingness to regularly visit and audit branches, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and effective time management abilities. You should also be capable of proposing and implementing updates to SOPs and guidelines, be a strategic thinker contributing to organizational strategies, and have the skills to meet deadlines.
