IT Data Analyst

As an IT Data Analyst at Syneos Health, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and troubleshooting issues related to data and pipelines. Your responsibilities will include writing and understanding complex SQL queries, managing data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Databricks, and integrating with Veeva CRM and Salesforce. You will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data delivery within committed SLAs. Additionally, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical team members to provide operational services and perform root cause analysis when issues arise. To excel in this role, you must have a full-time bachelor's degree in engineering/technology, computer science, IT, or related fields, along with 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or ETL fields. It is essential to have hands-on experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting, and be Azure DP-203 Certified. Databricks related certifications would be preferable. Your primary technologies will include Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Dedicated SQL Pools, SQL, and Python/PySpark. Familiarity with secondary technologies such as Unity Catalog and Lakehouse Architecture is a plus. Good to have skills include Salesforce, JIRA, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Automation.
