IT Business Analyst- Snowflake

As a member of the Procurement team at Siemens Energy ABP, your role will involve analyzing data to ensure alignment with business requirements and targets. You will collaborate closely with the Procurement & Logistic department and external providers in an agile environment. Your deep understanding of technology stack capabilities will be crucial in facilitating engagements with key collaborators to deliver data use cases that drive business value and contribute to the company's vision of becoming data-driven. **Key Responsibilities:** - Service Operation and end-to-end delivery responsibility. - Interact significantly with business users and key collaborators. - Develop and maintain data architecture and data governance standards and guidelines. - Design streamlined and optimized data architecture frameworks aligned with the organization's data strategy and business needs. - Provide guidance and support on data architecture frameworks to developers and partners. - Ensure quality of concepts and implementations in collaboration with external service providers. - Clarify user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure data integration and availability. - Identify data requirements and develop data models with business partners. - Implement systems to monitor and rectify data quality issues. - Align data security policies and procedures with the Cyber Security team. - Create comprehensive documentation, including technical diagrams, workflows, and management-level summaries. **Qualifications Required:** - Total 8 to 10 years of IT experience with 3 to 5 years of intensive hands-on experience on different ETL tools and platforms. - Knowledge of Snowflake SQL Scripting. - Working knowledge of JavaScript and PL/SQL with proficiency in creating Procedures. - Good understanding of Snowflake architecture concepts. - Data modeling skills on relational databases, especially for data warehousing. - Experience in Data Warehouse and Planning. - Knowledge in building end-to-end data pipelines and data migration. - Experience in building data ingestion pipelines using AWS, Azure & GCP data services. - Familiarity with Qlik and Power BI. - Masters or Bachelors degree in computer science or IT. - Strong English skills. - Intercultural communication and collaboration skills with a minimum of 2 years of international collaboration experience.
