Description
The role demands for a highly qualified professional who can provide guidance to direct reports typically comprising of first-line managers and supervisors. You should understand the fundamentals of data preparation and data modeling necessary for visualization purposes. Gathering reporting requirements from various stakeholders, architecting the solution/report, understanding/analyzing the source data, and delivering the reports in a timely manner are key responsibilities. You must have strong expertise in designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI for data-driven decisions. Performance monitoring, fine-tuning, and optimization of dashboards are essential. Knowledge of connecting to multiple data sources through Power BI is required. Experience in publishing and sharing dashboards, scheduling data refreshes, handling complexity around visualization or data, and possessing strong SQL skills, preferably over SQL Server, are crucial. Additionally, having a strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts, experience with any ETL tool preferably SSIS, and interpreting written business requirements and technical specification documents are important. Understanding Power BI user and group security configuration is also necessary. Minimum Qualifications: - BE/B-Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BSc/MSc - Relevant work experience (Knowledge of Ariba, SQL, VBA, MS-Access, Power BI, Cognos, R is desirable) - Strong financial analytical skills and problem-solving skills - Effective communication in writing and verbally to senior management - Experience in balancing customer-facing roles and work assessments - Self-starter and have analytical, problem-solving skills - Ability to balance customer governance meetings Preferred Qualifications: - Good conceptual knowledge and experience in other BI tools is an added advantage - Able to nurture robust working relationships with the team, peers, and clients, scheduling flexibility required - Overall candidate should have problem-solving, macro-level research, and analytics approach and good in numbers - Good people and customer handling skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills The role demands for a highly qualified professional who can provide guidance to direct reports typically comprising of first-line managers and supervisors.
