Description
As a Product Owner with a Security background, you will be responsible for: - Communicating with the team to understand the needs of clients and teams. - Communicating project status and roadblocks with other team members. - Working with external stakeholders and other Product Owners to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function provided. - Prioritizing product backlog items based on their business value, the time required to complete them, and the order they were created. - Considering the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made. - Communicating the benefits of your recommendations and helping address any uncertainty and concern. - Supporting the staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues. - Drafting user stories as per the requirement. - Coordinating with developers to ensure they understand each project's requirements. - Assisting the development team in clarifying requirements and helping them understand the business side. Additionally, you will be expected to have a deep understanding of security architecture and secure software development practices. This includes working with authentication, authorization, encryption, data masking, and secure coding practices. You will collaborate with teams to design and implement security solutions, including data security compliance with security standards and incident response. You will be required to utilize security frameworks and tools such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, JWT, and LDAP. Experience with cloud security services like AWS IAM, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM is preferred, with a preference for AWS experience, including AWS Cognito and AVP. Implementing methodologies and tools like DevSecOps, CICD, SRE, and security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SonarQube) will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCIDSS.
