Job Summary:
Leads the definition of technical strategy, standards, configurations and ensures feasibility. Acts as consultant to Global Service Organization (GSO) and Global Business Systems (BSG) organizations to define job content and skill sets to support technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Defines technical roadmap, ensuring match with iQor business and IT Strategy.
- Provides integrated hardware / software platform definition. Both components should complement each other.
- Provides regular updates to Global IT on execution of strategy.
- Takes feedback from Global IT to influence architecture strategy.
- Defines Technical platform - make, model, configurations, integration elements.
- Submits Prototype solution prior to full implementation. Prototype should serve as a proof of concept.
- Ensures Service Quality Assurance and Engineering of solution.
- Makes the initial commissioning of solution into production.
- Achieves sign off from GSO, PG and BSG to transition technology to support.
- Defines processes and methods to support technical infrastructure in production.
- Defines headcount sizing methodology.
- Defines management tools to support production environment.
- Documents technical platform - configurations, FAQ, CMDB.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in an enterprise level organization ($5B plus in size, multiple geographical locations).
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
