About the Job This is a role encompassing accounting and basic business intelligence in a young e-Commerce team. We are seeking a team member who will be an energetic, process driven, detailed and accurate. The candidate will be responsible for handling the finances and supporting a team that will be selling items on our website, and other offline channels. Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including Invoicing, A/R, A/P & GL's. Have an understanding of the Indian tax laws and regulations. Manage inventory & COGS accounting, including reconciliation of inventory accounts. Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes and prepare timely financial statements. Support the preparation of yearly budgets and quarterly reviews. Perform financial reviews, provide actionable insights and follow up to implementation. Manage and coordinate end-to-end audits of 3rd party service providers, including vendor selection and monthly review of payments versus activity. Establish strong internal controls over sourcing and payment processes. Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance (Added weightage for CA, ICWA, CFA, MCom). 4+ years of relevant financial or accounting experience. Experience in an e-commerce environment is strongly preferred. Highly proficient in Zoho Books and Excel, including pivot tables. Ability to build insightful reports from multiple data sources.
