Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Patent & IP Management:
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and defense of the company's IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Patentability & Infringement Analysis:
Conduct novelty, prior art, and patentability searches to assess the patentability of new inventions. Perform Freedom to Operate (FTO) evaluations and infringement analyses for new products.
Patent Drafting & Prosecution:
Draft patent applications and manage their prosecution (filing and follow-up) to secure patent protection in various jurisdictions.
IP Risk Management:
Provide crucial IP support for product launches by assessing IP risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Cross-Functional Support:
Work with other departments, such as Research & Development (R&D), Regulatory Affairs (RA), and Business Development (BD), to ensure their activities align with the company's IP strategy.
Competitor Monitoring:
Track competitors' IP activities and identify potential opportunities or threats from an IP perspective.
