Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible and proactive Credit Officer to manage credit operations and support the finance team in minimising financial risk. This role involves evaluating customer creditworthiness, processing credit applications, conducting mandatory field verifications, and ensuring a healthy cash flow through efficient collections. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate loan applications and supporting documents to determine credit risk. Conduct Personal Discussion (PD) visits to verify applicant credentials, assess living conditions, and evaluate business operations. Analyse financial statements, income documents, and banking transactions to assess repayment capacity. Ensure strict adherence to credit policy, regulatory guidelines, and internal risk controls. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of PD findings. Recommend appropriate credit limits and repayment structures based on risk assessment. Coordinate with sales and collections teams for seamless loan disbursal and post- disbursal tracking. Monitor loan portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and escalate high-risk cases proactively.
