IORS - Portfolio Operations - Sr Associate/Delivery Lead (APAC shift)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic resource to work on portfolio operations for one of our buy side clients. The candidate should have a strong expertise in data analysis and fund operations background. The candidate will have to display strong teamwork and sense of ownership. Candidate should have a good understanding of various portfolio operations activities such as reconciliation, monthly fund reporting, management fee booking etc.

Responsibilities and Skills:

Corporate Actions & Compliance

• Run compliance checks and reserve/cancel exposures for corporate actions.
• Maintain Do-Not-Allow and Proxy Voting lists; coordinate with CA team. Update PM coverage and portfolio changes for accurate CA routing.
• Coordinate GEC approvals (large deals, fast track, divestments) and log requests.

Portfolio & Security Management

• Monitor portfolios for due diligence, pending transactions, and initiate closures.
• Validate investment approvals and security creation; populate reference data.
• Update portfolio attributes, create new portfolios, and manage workflows.
• Investigate discrepancies in portfolios or securities and resolve with stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting

• Track and update documentation; send reminders and monthly overdue reports.
• Maintain investment summary sheets and templates for reporting periods.
• Consolidate and send client quarterly reports; coordinate write-ups and approvals.
• Collate MAS( Monetary Authority of Singapore) rate of return projections including commodities and gold

Trading & Market Operations

• Send funding cut-off tables for holidays; reserve currencies accordingly Extract market holidays and assess impact on trade/value dates
• Monitor headroom borrowing and coordinate with FIMA for requests

PM Support & Coordination

• Tag PMs to securities for coverage; assist with master listing and uploads
• Provide Bloomberg consensus data and ESG reports as requested
• Coordinate IPO processes and e-signing with authorized signatories
• Download broker reports for PMs business trips and companies being met

Governance & Conflict Checks

• Conduct conflict checks and respond to consultation/wall crossing requests
• Review daily Capital/Holding allocation reports; follow up on exceptions Review dashboards/reports for business governance

Data Maintenance

• Patch CRD data (shares, currency, price) before order proposals
• Manually tag new holdings in PMs custom classifications
• Upload and verify business trip receipts before submission

Others

• Should be willing to work from 6:00 am IST to 3:00 pm IST
• Candidate should be ready to work from office on all 5 days for the entire day, with no exceptions under any circumstances.
• Experience in Aladdin will be an advantage

Education:

• Masters(preferred)/Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting
