The Opportunity:
UST is looking for Inventory Technician.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive, tag, and process incoming and outgoing inventory items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in tools such as Excel and ServiceNow/ISMP.
- Support daily operations: shipping, receiving, check-in/check-out, and kitting of lab materials.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts, audits (Book-to-Floor, Floor-to-Book), and reconciliations.
- Publish weekly and monthly reports on inventory health and utilization.
- Assist in scrapping/organizing unused or obsolete inventory items.
- Work closely with lab and engineering teams to support requests and material movement.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and lab safety/security policies.
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas, ensuring clear labelling of assets.
- Support SLA-based ticketing processes for inventory requests.
- Shadow and learn from senior team members to build skills in lab and inventory management
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (preferred).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
- 0–2 years of experience in inventory, logistics, or lab support.
- Willingness to work in afternoon/night shifts and in a datacenter/lab environment.
- Ability to lift/move equipment (up to 10–15 kgs) as required.
