Inventory Executive

About the Role: Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the inventory of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables at site and/or central warehouse. Ensure accurate stock levels, timely issuance, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of receipt, issuance, and return of materials, consumables, and equipment at project sites.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct regular physical verification of stock and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of construction materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Update ERP/software/stock register with all material transactions on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely delivery of required materials.
• Track tools, machinery, and consumables issued to site teams and ensure timely return.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
• Implement and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and other inventory control techniques.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete stock and highlight to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in the store/warehouse.

Qualifications & Experience

• Any Graduation
• 8-10 years of experience in inventory or stores management in the construction/real estate/infrastructure industry.
• Proficiency in SAP MM preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, consumables, and equipment.
• Hands-on experience in inventory control, stock management, and ERP/Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills with site/project teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
