This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, asset management, and implementing best practices for a secure and stable working environment. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management - Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, domain controllers, and file servers. - Configure and manage networking hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. - Ensure uptime and performance monitoring of systems and networks using diagnostic tools. - Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies across systems. End-User Support - Provide L1/L2 IT support to internal staff for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. - Handle hardware/software installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. - Train and guide users on best IT practices, security protocols, and productivity tools. Security & Compliance - Monitor and manage firewall, antivirus, endpoint protection, and patch management. - Enforce IT policies for data backup, access control, and secure usage of corporate resources. - Assist in audits and compliance-related documentation. Peripheral & Facility Support - Manage and maintain biometric systems, CCTV infrastructure, printers, and telecommunication devices. - Coordinate with third-party vendors for AMC, support, and procurement. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain inventory and logs of IT assets, licenses, and warranty/service agreements. - Document configurations, incident resolutions, and preventive actions. - Generate periodic reports on system health, tickets closed, and infrastructure upgrades. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: - Essential: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS environments. - Strong understanding of LAN/WAN configuration, VPNs, and IP troubleshooting. - Experience with IT ticketing tools and remote support platforms. - Basic understanding of cloud storage and backup solutions (e.g., Google Workspace, OneDrive, AWS basics). Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication, both verbal and written. - Time management and ability to multitask. - Collaborative and proactive attitude. Job description Roles and Responsibilites 1. Quality Planning and Control Develop Quality Plans : Create detailed quality control plans for each casting project, including critical checkpoints and tests. Define Quality Standards : Establish quality standards and inspection criteria for raw materials, in-process components, and finished castings. Monitor Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and client-specific quality requirements. 2. Process Monitoring and Improvement Oversee Casting Processes : Monitor key casting parameters (like temperature, pressure, and time) to ensure they fall within required limits. Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) : Use SPC tools to monitor production data and identify trends or deviations. Continuous Improvement Initiatives : Lead continuous improvement projects, such as Six Sigma or Lean initiatives, to reduce waste and improve quality. 3. Inspection and Testing Conduct Inspections : Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on cast products to ensure they meet specifications. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) : Supervise or conduct NDT methods (like ultrasonic, radiographic, and dye penetrant testing) to check for internal defects. Material Testing : Verify that materials meet strength, hardness, and other physical property requirements. 4. Defect Analysis and Root Cause Investigation Analyze Defects : Identify, categorize, and analyze defects or failures in cast products, such as porosity, shrinkage, or inclusions. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Perform RCA to determine why defects occur and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence (using methods like Fishbone Diagram or 5 Whys). Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) : Develop CAPA based on RCA findings and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions. 5. Documentation and Reporting Maintain Quality Records : Document quality inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken. Prepare Quality Reports : Compile and present quality performance reports for management, including KPI tracking (e.g., defect rates, yield rates). Support Audits : Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance. 6. Supplier Quality Management Supplier Audits and Assessments : Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure they meet required quality standards for raw materials and components. Collaborate on Quality Standards : Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards, monitor performance, and address any quality issues. Supplier Quality Improvement : Drive improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance incoming material quality and reduce defects. 7. Customer Interaction and Issue Resolution Handle Quality Concerns : Address customer complaints related to casting quality, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with Clients : Communicate with clients to understand quality expectations, provide updates on quality status, and gain feedback. Support Quality Assurance in New Product Development : Work with customers during the design phase to align on quality and process requirements. 8. Training and Mentorship Train Production Staff : Educate operators and production team members on quality standards, best practices, and defect prevention. Quality Awareness Programs : Promote a culture of quality within the organization by organizing quality awareness programs and workshops.
