CNC Production & Shift supervisor

Job Description

key roles and responsibilities : Operational Oversight Monitor CNC machine operations to ensure production targets are met. Schedule and assign tasks to CNC operators and machinists. Ensure proper setup and calibration of CNC machines before production runs. Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance teams when needed. Quality Control Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications. Implement quality assurance protocols and ensure adherence to established standards. Document production data and maintain logs for traceability and analysis. Team Leadership Supervise and support CNC operators , providing guidance and training. Conduct shift meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders. Evaluate performance and provide feedback or disciplinary action when necessary. Safety and Compliance Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment. Report incidents or near misses and participate in safety audits. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Continuous Improvement Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives or Kaizen events.
