Internship - Procurement & Vendor onboarding intern

As the Procurement & Vendor Onboarding Specialist at TRIOS, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding vendors for sustainable office interior materials. Your role will involve ensuring that TRIOS sources high-quality, eco-friendly materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships. You will drive cost efficiency, sustainability compliance, and supply chain reliability. Your key objectives and metrics for success include: 1. Vendor Identification & Onboarding (Month 13) - Identify and onboard at least 5-7 new vendors for sustainable office interior materials. - Ensure 100% compliance with TRIOS sustainability and quality standards. - Establish clear contracts and agreements with new vendors covering pricing, lead times, and sustainability commitments. 2. Cost Optimization & Supply Chain Efficiency (Month 26) - Negotiate cost savings on sustainable materials without compromising quality. - Ensure a high on-time delivery rate from vendors. - Reduce procurement lead time by optimizing supplier selection and order processes. 3. Sustainability & Compliance (Ongoing) - Ensure all sourced materials align with sustainability certifications. - Implement a vendor audit system to evaluate major suppliers on sustainability and compliance. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material choices align with project specifications. 4. Relationship Management & Market Intelligence (Ongoing) - Maintain strong relationships with key vendors. - Conduct quarterly market research on new sustainable materials and cost trends. - Collaborate with the design & build team to suggest eco-friendly alternatives for projects.
