Internship Role Description

We are currently seeking a Game Designer Intern who is passionate about games and excited to contribute to the design and development of unique gaming experiences. This paid internship is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry while working with an experienced and dynamic team.

As a Game Designer Intern, you will assist in designing compelling game mechanics, crafting level layouts, and collaborating with developers and artists to bring your ideas to life. You will be involved in designing games for both mobile platforms and gaming consoles.

Key Responsibilities

* Design engaging and innovative game mechanics, levels, and systems.
* Collaborate with developers, artists, and animators to implement game features.* Assist in user testing and iterate on feedback to enhance gameplay experience.* Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming and prototyping sessions.* Support in balancing and tuning game features for performance and engagement.* Maintain thorough documentation of design ideas, mechanics, and level flows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* A strong passion for video games and game design.
* Basic understanding of Game Design and Level Design principles.* Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.* Knowledge of 2D or 3D games development and workflows.* Creative thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
