- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field, prefer Information Security stream
- Strong interest and foundational knowledge of information security concepts and principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and effective communication and teamwork abilities.
You will be mining through these tasks
Cyber Defense:
- Participate in monitoring security events and incidents.
- Support the team in implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Evaluate logs and security events for potential threats and anomalies.
- Assist in log ingestion processes for efficient monitoring and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of security rules and policies for threat detection and prevention.
- Aid in the creation and refinement of incident response playbooks and procedures.
Security Engineering:
- Develop hardening and security baseline documents for various systems and platforms.
- Assist in the design and deployment of security solutions and architectures.
- Support the team in evaluating and deploying security tools and technologies.
- Ensure the implementation of security features based on established baselines.
Security Awareness:
- Support in developing and delivering security awareness programs and materials.
- Assist in organizing training sessions and campaigns for staff awareness.
- Design and execute simulation attacks such as phishing, social media attacks, etc.
- Develop engaging themes and content for security awareness campaigns.
- Conduct spot audits to assess employee adherence to security practices.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness campaigns for staff education.
Data Security and Privacy:
- Assist in implementing data security controls and protocols.
- Support data classification, encryption, and access management efforts.
- Aid in privacy assessments and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Perform user access reviews to ensure adherence to security policies.
- Support in data classification and data discovery processes.
- Assist in building automation tools for data security measures.
- Contribute to building and maintaining rules in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems.
Security Testing:
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
- Participate in red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attacks.
- Assist in developing automation tools for security testing.
- Conduct mobile and application penetration testing.
- Evaluate security testing tools and technologies for effectiveness.
- Assist in analyzing and reporting security test findings.
