About Team:

Labcorp's Specimen Data Solutions (SDS) business provides specialty services in the holistic specimen tracking space. We are a highly tech driven business using best in class technologies to help our clients accelerate the drug development process. Our innovative informatics platform delivers insights to both In-life clinical teams and translational scientists. SDS reduces the time, cost and risk of specimen-based research, while building robust, healthy data pipelines that optimize research opportunities.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Familiarize yourself with end-to-end Specimen Management and Specimen Tracking process in Specimen Data Solutions.
• Train alongside the Data Management/Data Solutions/Clinical Regulatory Operations team to develop processes for proactively identifying data errors and performing standard/advanced resolution steps.
• Engage with Specimen Monitoring Solution teams to learn and apply problem-solving skills.
• Get exposure to basic concepts of data science like SQL database/coding, data visualizations, Machine learning concepts etc.
• Engage in professional development workshops to enhance business acumen and professional presence.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working towards:

For Operations: Master/Bachelor's degree in Life science or related field.

• Has experience in delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting.
• Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership.
• Possess critical thinking and can-do spirit.
