Responsibilities
As a Design Intern (Visual Design and Interaction Design), you will assist in designing and refining visual assets, interfaces across desktop, web and mobile platforms. You will contribute to visual assets like icons, thumbnail graphics, documentation graphics, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design. Working under the guidance of senior designers, you will participate in user research, feedback sessions, and iterative design processes to ensure products are visually appealing, easy to use, and aligned with user needs and brand identity.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visual assets like icons, thumbnail graphics and documentation graphics.
- Design high-fidelity mockups and support the creation of prototypes.
- Understand and contribute to the design system component library.
- Participate in user testing and research sessions to gather insights.
- Maintain consistency with existing brand guidelines and contribute to design system enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and actively contribute to design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
Education / Qualifications
Specific Skills Required
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or XD.
- Ability to create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Knowledge of basic design systems and component libraries.
- Attention to detail in typography, color theory, layout, and iconography.
