Intern Dietician

As an Intern at our organization, you will have the opportunity to engage in various aspects of the nutrition and dietetics field. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in conducting initial nutritional assessments of clients or patients by reviewing their medical history, dietary habits, anthropometric measurements, and biochemical data. - Learning to interpret assessment findings and identify nutritional needs accurately. - Providing nutrition education and counseling under the supervision of a registered dietitian. - Developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans based on individual needs and goals. - Educating clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and lifestyle modifications to support their overall well-being. - Assisting in developing meal plans that align with dietary guidelines and client preferences. - Analyzing the nutrient content of foods and meals using food composition databases to ensure nutritional adequacy. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including nutritional assessments, progress notes, and meal plans. - Engaging in literature review and evidence-based research related to nutrition and dietetics. - Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, communicating effectively with clients, families, and caregivers. - Participating in professional development activities. If you have at least 1 year of total work experience, it would be preferred for this internship position. The work location is in person, providing you with hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.,
