Intern - Bridges

As a well-motivated and creative Post Graduate Structure/Bridge Engineer with excellent numerical, logical, and analytical abilities, you will have the opportunity to work on structural/bridge engineering projects at Jacobs. Your main responsibility will involve undertaking the design of structural and bridge infrastructure projects by applying design tools and standards. This role is ideal for a candidate eager to take the next step in their career and contribute to quality design delivery. Your tasks will include successfully completing technical and other relevant trainings, assisting in basic engineering tasks such as design works, preparing engineering calculations and drawings, and modeling engineering behavior with minimal guidance from team members. You will also be responsible for preparing sketches to assist drafters in the creation of drawings, taking ownership of your work, and producing high-quality technical output. It is essential to have the ability to listen, understand, and follow instructions, as well as demonstrate flexibility in work tasks and locations. Qualifications required for this role include currently being in the 2nd Semester of ME/MTech in Structural Engineering, with an expected graduation in 2026. It is important to have good communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proactive approach to learning and growing in a collaborative environment.
