Intermediate Piping Engineer- Layout

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Intermediate Piping Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, layout, and coordination of piping systems in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications. This role requires both technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review piping layouts, isometrics, and support plans in coordination with other disciplines.
• Perform equipment nozzle orientation, pipe routing, and support location identification.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.1, EN, API).
• Prepare and check material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BoMs).
• Interface with mechanical, civil/structural, and instrumentation teams to resolve design issues.
• Support piping stress engineers by providing layout and support information.
• Participate in model reviews and client meetings.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Ensure timely delivery of quality documents in accordance with project schedules.

Education And Experience: -

• BE/B.Tech degree- Mechanical

  with minimum 8 years piping design experience

OR

• Diploma in Mechanical Engg.

  with minimum 10 years piping design experience
• Industry Experience -

  Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical/ Refinery/Power/Hydrogen/LNG

• Role experience

  - Piping

  Design Engineer

  with leading & reputed Engineering EPC companies.

• Detail Design

  Engineering Experience
• Excellent experience of working on

  E3D/PDMS/ESAPRO.

  A tool test in Incico India Office will be conducted with you to check your knowledge.

• AutoCAD 2D

  Knowledge is highly preferred.
• You are fluent in

  English (Professional Level).
