INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT

ABOUT THIS ROLE… We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with strong Australian public practice experience. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond graduate/junior responsibilities and is confident handling end-to-end compliance for a range of clients WHAT YOU'LL DO: o Prepare financial statements, BAS, IAS, and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships o Perform reconciliations and prepare workpapers - Liaise with senior accountants/managers to finalise jobs o Support juniors and review simple tasks when needed - Use Xero, MYOB, or other Australian accounting software WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: o 3-4+ years' Australian public practice accounting experience o Solid understanding of Australian tax rules and compliance standards o Competence in managing jobs with minimal supervision o Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
