Interior Draughtsperson / Interior CAD Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Draughtsperson to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed architectural drawings, layouts. You will work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts into construction-ready drawings. Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of work experience are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and interior layouts using AutoCAD or similar software. Assist in space planning, furniture layouts, and material specifications. Coordinate with designers, consultants, and contractors for drawing approvals and revisions. Ensure drawings are code-compliant and align with local building regulations. Maintain drawing files and ensure up-to-date documentation for all project stages. Incorporate feedback and changes as per client and team inputs. Attend site visits for measurement and supervision, if needed. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proficient in AutoCAD Strong knowledge of drafting standards, interior detailing, and joinery. Understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques. Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings. Good communication and time management skills. Eye for detail and precision in technical drawings. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with software like Photoshop, Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape. Knowledge of BIM, Revit, or rendering tools is a plus. Previous experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors.
