We are seeking a talented and creative interior designer with professional experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to work on diverse projects including residential and commercial spaces. Collaborate closely with clients, architects/designers, and project managers to bring innovative design concepts to life.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and implementing design concepts, conducting site visits, and coordinating with clients and contractors. Daily tasks will include selecting appropriate materials and furnishings, preparing detailed design plans, and managing project timelines and budgets. The Interior Designer will also be responsible for ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications

1. Design Conceptualization: Develop creative and functional design concepts for various spaces in line with client requirements, budget, and project timelines.

2. Space Planning: Plan and design layouts that optimize space usage while maintaining aesthetics, functionality, and safety standards.

3. Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the design vision.

4. Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

5. 3D Visualizations & Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D design in SketchUp, CAD drawings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.

6. Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.

7. Team Management: Manage a team of junior designers and set design directions for them to take the project forward. Check drawings and set standards for detail drawings.

8. Site Supervision: Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, as needed

• 9. Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, technologies, and sustainable practices to bring fresh and modern ideas to projects.
