Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist senior designers in developing
design concepts, mood boards, and layout plans
Prepare
detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentations
using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
Develop
technical drawings
, working plans, and furniture details for production
Prepare
Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
, cost estimates, and material specifications
Help organize and update
material libraries
, vendor catalogs, and samples
Support in sourcing
materials, finishes, and fittings
based on design requirements
Coordinate internally with production and procurement teams to ensure accuracy in drawings and specs
Conduct site measurements and create
as-built drawings
as needed
Participate in
site visits
to monitor execution and ensure compliance with drawings
Stay current with industry trends, new materials, and design innovations

Preferred candidate profile

Good understanding of
interior materials, construction details, and space planning
Ability to read, interpret, and create detailed technical drawings
Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and timelines.
Relevant experience in the furniture manufacturing and design industry
