Interior & Civil Site Supervisor

Position Overview

The Interior & Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations for civil works and interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that construction and finishing activities are executed according to drawings, quality standards, and timelines while maintaining strict safety and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage site activities for both civil and interior works (e.g., structural, masonry, plastering, flooring, carpentry, false ceiling, painting, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works).
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and interior design details.
• Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines, and coordinate with contractors, laborers, and vendors.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate procurement and availability of materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
• Resolve technical issues, conflicts, or delays promptly in consultation with project managers/engineers.
• Prepare and maintain site records, daily progress reports, and documentation.
• Ensure proper execution of finishes, detailing, and client specifications for interior works.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers for approvals, inspections, and handovers.
• Enforce safety rules, housekeeping, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in supervising civil and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, interior finishing works, and relevant building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, architectural plans, and interior design layouts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and MS Office (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Working Conditions

• Site-based role with exposure to construction and interior finishing environments.
• May require extended hours, weekends, or travel to meet project deadlines.
• Requires use of safety gear and compliance with workplace safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
