Role Overview: You will be joining EY as a Java, Spring, portal developer with 6 to 8 years of experience. Your role will involve supporting portal developer for various applications including technology stack such as Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS. You must be willing to work in shifts and provide on-call support on a rotational basis. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting applications, conducting testing, managing deployments, troubleshooting, and designing Business Objects environment and services. Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills are essential to engage with stakeholders and gather requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Support portal developer for applications using Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS - Work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, US Shift) and provide On Call Support on a rotational basis - Maintain and support applications, conduct testing, manage deployments, and perform root cause analysis & defect fixes - Design, build, and support the Business Objects environment and services - Troubleshoot Business Objects report performance issues and raise SAP cases when needed - Collaborate with customers and delivery teams on implementations and remote services - Attend project meetings and SCRUM ceremonies - Understand ITIL v3/v4 processes and replicate existing customizations - Manage middleware applications with various interfaces including Guidewire system - Design, modify, and implement changes to existing applications built in Java, Spring boot, and Hibernate Qualification Required: - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate - Experience with Development Tools like Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong knowledge of SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Experience with Tomcat or WebSphere/WebLogic - Real-time knowledge of enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding of software development best practices - Certification in ITIL (Good to have), ONE, CFA, AWS Additional Company Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a global network operating across six locations.
