Insurance Enabling Technology - GW BC Config Developer -Sr. Associate

Role Overview: You will be working as an Associate within the Functional and Industry Technologies services team at PwC, where you will play a key role in building secure and innovative digital experiences for clients in the financial services sector. Your responsibilities will include configuring and customizing software solutions, analyzing complex problems, mentoring team members, and upholding high standards to support client needs. Key Responsibilities: - Support sprint planning and collaborate with teams from different locations and clients - Analyze client requirements and review estimates, suggesting updates as needed - Design and develop software solutions in a timely manner - Guide the team on tasks and perform design and code reviews - Support testing, address client queries, and interface with the onsite team - Participate in scrum calls, provide status reports, and engage in CoE activities, trainings, and recruitments as required Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree - Minimum 5 years of experience - Proficiency in Java - Oral and written proficiency in English - Hands-on experience in Guidewire products BillingCenter - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting/UI/Data Model) - Familiarity with Webservices, XML, ant script, and databases such as Oracle/SQL Server - Experience with SCM tools like GIT, TFS, SVN - Knowledge of servers/containers like Tomcat/JBoss/Websphere - Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure - Excellent analytical skills and experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology - Domain knowledge in insurance - Understanding of software architecture and design patterns - Skills in estimation, team leading, code review, and mentoring - At least two Guidewire implementations - Additional skills in MuleSoft, Spring/Hibernate would be beneficial,
