Instrumentation Commissioning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Academically good, sound in Construction Knowledge and with a go getter attitude.
• Report to the E&I Lead for all construction activities and is based at site.
• Must have good interpersonal and leadership skills to lead a team to achieve set project targets and to ensure the effective performance of the team.
• Minimum of 8-14 years of experience in construction of instrumentation works in Oil and Gas Industries, out of which minimum 6-9 years should be in installations of major project equipment and systems. This should include Calibration, Erection, cable laying, instrumentation piping and tubing works.
• Knowledge of Loop checking, hydro/pneumatic testing and commissioning of complete Field Instrumentation and Control System will be an added advantage.
• Instrumentation and Control system works including PLC/DCS and SCADA system for large refinery, petrochemicals and pipeline projects.
• Prior experience in role of Instrumentation Engineer, with on Time Delivery inside an operating plant or other 'brownfield' environment with a focus on minimizing disruption of ongoing operations.
• Experience in the interpretation and application of National and other relevant International codes and standards.
• Equipment erection, plant cable laying, testing and commissioning of all Instrumentation equipment.
