As a Control Logics Engineer at Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will be part of a team of skilled engineers focusing on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. The INOPC has grown to become the largest engineering hub, playing a key role in Hitachi Energy's Power Up transformation program. Your responsibilities will include designing and testing control logics, simulating control logics and algorithms in PSCAD/Matlab environment, pre-studies of new power technologies, and hardware integration interfacing with RTDS. To be successful in this role, you should have a ME Power Systems or ME Power Electronics degree with at least 3 years of experience. Experience in modelling voltage sourced converters (VSC) for HVDC, FACTS, or drives is required. Proficiency in simulation tools like EMTDC/PSCAD, PSS/E, RTDS, and calculations in Matlab is essential. Understanding the application of Power Electronics in HV/EHV systems and hands-on experience in power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and switching transients for utility/industrial systems is crucial. You should possess good knowledge of Power Systems equipment including Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, and Surge Arrestors. Additionally, you should be familiar with the selection, sizing, integration, and testing of equipment based on customer specifications.,

As a Project Engineering Manager at Assystem, your objective will be to ensure that engineering activities of the project are completed within the specified time frame in terms of both quality and cost. You will be responsible for maintaining adherence to the project schedule, working on optimizations and proposing alternate solutions for efficient project delivery with a positive margin. Inter-discipline coordination, work allocation, and man-hours allocation will also be part of your responsibilities. Key responsibilities include having expertise in primary and secondary engineering for substation projects, particularly in design aspects of GIS/AIS substations up to 765 KV. Reviewing designs, calculations, and drawings, ensuring timely material deliveries, and multitasking to deliver multiple tasks on time are crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in clarification of issues with vendors, enabling accurate estimation for Bill of Materials submissions, overseeing BIM implementation in projects, settling procurement issues, and managing a team of Design Leads, Design Engineers, and Draughtspersons. Supporting site execution teams, leading vendor evaluations, facilitating communication with suppliers, and obtaining resource requirements for projects are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Technical expertise required includes a thorough understanding of primary and secondary engineering for substation projects, proficiency in selecting equipment, knowledge of substation primary and secondary design, and familiarity with interfaces between Civil, MEP & Instrumentation. You should also have a detailed understanding of project execution for different geographies/clients/utilities and interpret contractual technical requirements effectively. Your operating network will include internal stakeholders such as the Head of Engineering, Inter-discipline Heads, Project Execution team, Supply Chain Management team, Quality team, and Contracts team. Your Background: Should have B.E. in EEE with 5+Years Experience) / Master of Engineering - Power System (3 - 8 years experience)/ PhD - Power System (1-5 years experience) You should have extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network /HVDC/FACT. You should have knowledge of Power Transmission Projects (EPC) along with PSSE, PSCAD, Matlab, Power Factory Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc. Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience: • 3 to 5 years of experience in Instrument transformers (12kV and above), manufacturing industry. Experience with CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks). Preferred Skills: Should have knowledge of Indian & International standards applicable for MV & HV switchgear products like breaker, Instrument Transformer, Vacuum Interrupter, HT capacitor etc. Thorough knowledge of Electromagnetic & Electrostatic design for Instrument transformer and condenser bushings. Knowledge of Electrostatic, Electromagnetic & thermal engineering and verification/validation of product design by using ANSYS software. Knowledge of calculating design stage product Raw Material cost. Knowledge of type testing of products. Basic Knowledge Six Sigma tools such as FMEA. Should be able to do Spec-in in Tenders , support marketing team for preparing sales pitch. Technical Presentation skills Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design & Development Engineer to join our team specializing in electrical switchgear products, with a strong focus on instrument transformers and condenser Bushing. The idea candidate will have Strong understanding of electrical switchgear principles, instrument transformer design and applications. Key Responsibilities: To prepare Technical Instructions for the procurement, production & QA team Assembly and disassembly of In-house and benchmark products. Study, Design and Implement best manufacturing practices. Development of New products by--- 1. Electrical design that includes design calculations, drawings, bill of material schematics etc. 2. Coordination with Internal and External Customers and suppliers for manufacturing of components. 3. Active participation in assembly of new designed products . 4. Addressing corrective and preventive actions. 5. Validation of products at inhouse type or third -party lab. 6. Preparation of technology/product transfer manual. 7. Preparation of technical specifications, technical manufacturing instructions & SOPs for new product development. 8. Involved in RM cost reduction initiatives.

1) Design of Instrument Transformer Development of specifications for current and voltage transformers, ensuring compliance with National and International standards. 2) Product Design Review Collaborating with internal customers to gather input, prepare technical drawings, and ensure all specifications are met as per the customer needs. 3) Feasibility and Cost Estimation Analysing design feasibility for tender inquiries, estimating material costs, and preparing General Technical Proposals (GTPs). 4) Coordination with Marketing Addressing customer queries, obtaining drawing approvals, and providing technical justifications to support marketing efforts. 5) New Product Development Leading discussions on new product initiatives, planning development phases, and coordinate with various departments to execute the product development as per plan. 6) New feature Development Engaging in discussions to explore new features for existing products or new specifications required by customers. 1) Electromagnetic designs for CTs and IVTs. 2) Provide material costing to domestic & export marketing. 3) Selection of material to meet the requirements of customer specifications 4) Release of drawing input to prepare the customer drawings for CT , IVTs 5) Technical clarifications on customers queries. Design feasibility for tender and orders processing for Current transformer and Voltage transformer, Material cost estimation, Preparation of Customer drawings and Technical Data sheet.
