Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems within an industrial environment. This role requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems in industrial settings.
Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and calibrations.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve processes and implement new technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems in an industrial setting.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Strong understanding of control systems, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
Experience with calibration and maintenance of various types of instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
