As a candidate for the position, your primary responsibility will be to conduct rubber compound checking and testing using various methods such as Rheo, Mooney, Tensile Strength, Elongation, Modulus, Din Abrasion, Specific Gravity Measurement & Hardness. Additionally, you will be required to perform in-process inspections and escalate any deviations found while ensuring corrective measures are implemented promptly. Identifying tyre defects and taking corrective actions, as well as conducting first piece approvals in case of any changes, will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will be responsible for tyre final inspection, barcoding, tire dimension measurements, and validating cure time through thermocouple studies. You will also be involved in new mould trials, improvement trials, and have knowledge of 8D Problem Solving & CAPA. Instrument calibrations, participation in QCC Circle and Kaizen Competition, SPC monitoring, and maintaining quality documents are essential tasks that you will undertake. Basic awareness of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), maintaining 5S practices, conducting periodic audits, and demonstrating computer proficiency in MS Office will also be expected from you. Your positive attitude, along with a qualification of Diploma in Polymer Technology / B. Tech in Polymer Engineering and age between 21 to 35, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
