Injection Mould Designer

As an Injection Moulding CAD Designer at Jabil, you will work directly with engineers to generate CAD models and drawings. Your responsibilities will include working on new designs or modifying existing designs. You should be familiar with the basic use of CAD design tools and possess good design knowledge of 2 Plates and 3 Plates Injection Mould. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Material Flow Analysis and utilize CAD Software to create detailed mold designs. Your role will involve creating and entering a complete design package at appropriate process phase gates and working collaboratively with other departments such as Business Unit Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality departments. You will aim to provide designs that meet customers" criteria while ensuring high quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. Furthermore, you will provide technical support for all manufacturing builds, including engineering prototypes, NPI & production releases. It is essential to stay updated on the latest technology and techniques to provide competitive and cost-effective designs. You will follow the direction of Engineers, Sr. Designer, Lead Designers, or the Design Manager, and may also perform other duties as assigned.
