Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administer and monitor mainframe systems, ensuring high availability and optimal system performance.
Write, execute, and troubleshoot JCL scripts to support job automation and batch processing.
Use RDBMS databases for data access, manipulation, and reporting purposes.
Work collaboratively with infrastructure, development, and support teams to deliver and support technology solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in TSO, ISPF, and SDSF environments.
Assist in designing and deploying data archival strategies, including support for SAP Data Archival where required.
Participate in system upgrades, performance tuning, and operational documentation.
Contribute to infrastructure-related projects and ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards.

Skills Required:

Must-Have:

Experience with mainframe systems and utilities
Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language)
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and practical usage
Familiarity with mainframe tools like TSO, ISPF, and SDSF

Nice-to-Have:

Exposure to SAP Data Archival processes or tools
Basic understanding of infrastructure automation and batch scheduling tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
