Job Summary:

Infrastructure Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop

  infrastructure architecture blueprints

  for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Define and maintain

  standards, policies, and best practices

  for infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend

  hardware, software, and cloud solutions

  to meet business requirements.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and

  cloud migration initiatives

  (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure

  high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery

  across systems and data centers.
• Oversee

  virtualization platforms

  (VMware, Hyper-V) and

  storage solutions

  (SAN, NAS).
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to integrate infrastructure with enterprise systems.
  
• Develop

  capacity planning

  and

  performance tuning

  strategies.
• Participate in

  RFP/RFI evaluations

  and vendor management.
• Document architecture designs, diagrams, and infrastructure processes.
  
• Support

  budgeting and cost optimization

  for infrastructure and cloud resources.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  
• 7–12 years of experience in

  infrastructure design, system administration, or enterprise architecture

  .
• Proven expertise in:
  

• Cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Virtualization

  (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)

• Networking

  (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers)

• Storage

  (SAN/NAS, backup and recovery)

• Operating systems

  (Windows Server, Linux)
• Strong understanding of

  security architecture, IAM, and compliance frameworks

  .
• Experience with

  automation tools

  (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of

  containerization and orchestration

  (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience in

  hybrid cloud

  or

  multi-cloud architecture

  .
• Exposure to

  DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

  methodologies.
• Familiarity with

  ITIL

  and

  enterprise monitoring tools

  (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
• Strong

  leadership and stakeholder management

  skills.
