About the Job At in-tech, we are working to make mobility more sustainable and more intelligent, As a specialist in electronics and software for the past 20 years, in-tech develops innovative solutions for the automotive sector, A dynamic and fast-growing engineering company headquartered in Munich, Germany employing around 2350 employees globally across 22 project locations in 08 countries, Our India location The focus of the Kochi office is on Automotive Electronics We are working on making the car of the future autonomous, electric, and connected As a strategic development partner, we support our customers throughout the entire product development process: from development to system integration to after-sales In addition, we offer innovative tooling solutions ranging from HIL systems to cloud-based test infrastructures, We are looking for an Infotainment Test Engineer to join our team in Kochi As a member of our in-tech team, you will work with experienced engineers from different countries and with the latest technology every day, Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for testing infotainment features like media, navigation, Bluetooth, and voice commands, Perform system integration and functional testing across infotainment modules, validating end-to-end user interactions and system performance, Analyse logs and diagnose issues using industry standard tools, Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to align testing efforts with development cycles and ensure timely defect resolution, Requirements 5+ years of experience in automotive software testing and automation using Python, Proven experience in writing automated test scripts using Python and a testing framework at least in one of Pytest, Espresso, UI Automator or Appium, Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, Familiarity with Android development environment and tools like adb is preferred, Experience with Android emulators and physical devices for testing is a plus, Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e-g ,GitHub, GitHub Action) is an added advantage Excellent communication and collaboration skills is expected, Passion for quality assurance and a dedication to writing clear and maintainable test code, Being familiar with VHAL properties, and Android automotive topics is merit, Knowledge of communication protocols CAN, FlexRay, SOME/IP, Ethernet is a plus, Apply with us If you have the experience, team spirit and are looking for a great place to work, then start your job with us, As part of our dedication to the diversity of our workforce, in-tech is committed to equal employment opportunity without regard for age, race, colour, national origin, gender, ethnicity, protected veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion,
