• Architect, implement, and manage highly available and secure Linux-based infrastructure (RHEL, Ubuntu and other flavours) across on-prem and cloud platforms.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for streamlined application deployment.

• Manage configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate infrastructure provisioning and updates.

• Build and support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), including orchestration, scaling, and monitoring.

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune Linux systems to ensure optimal uptime and responsiveness.

• Automate operational processes using shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless DevSecOps practices and robust release management.

• Implement and maintain logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions using tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.

• Enforce infrastructure security best practices, including patch management, compliance scanning, and identity management (LDAP, Kerberos, etc.).

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, providing Tier-3 level troubleshooting for critical systems.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) at an enterprise level.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Perl.

• Solid experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, Azure DevOps).

• In-depth knowledge of Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IaaS, VPC, IAM, and managed services.

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog.

• Knowledge of security best practices and system hardening techniques (CIS benchmarks, SELinux, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
