Role

Experience - 7+yrs - 12yrs

Note - IICS exp is mandatory for Informatica hiring

Location -

PowerCenter to IDMC Migration Architect/Senior Developer

Nice to Have:
Knowledge of
other Informatica products
(CDQ/CDGC/MDM SAAS).
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with strong expertise in
Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC (IICS) conversion projects
.
Migration Expertise:
Proven track record of leading end-to-end migration initiatives, including assessment, mapping, workflow/task conversion, optimization, and cutover planning.
Technical Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of
Informatica PowerCenter (9.x/10.x)
and
Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS)
.
Hands-on experience with
Mappings, Workflows, Sessions, Taskflows, and Parameter Files
migration.
Proficient in
SQL, ETL optimization, performance tuning
, and handling large-scale data integration workloads.

Cloud & Integration Skills:
Exposure to
cloud-native features of IDMC
, including API integration, real-time processing, and advanced transformations.
Delivery Skills:
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, prepare migration strategies, and create detailed documentation.
Collaboration:
Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and offshore/onshore teams to ensure smooth migration.

Architect Responsibilities

Define and enforce
migration standards, best practices, and governance models
for IDMC projects.
Lead
capacity planning and performance optimization
for large-scale data integration workloads.
Review and approve
mappings, taskflows, and solution designs
to ensure compliance and quality.
Provide
technical oversight, guidance, and mentoring
to development teams.
Maintain
architecture documentation and playbooks
, aligning with enterprise data strategy.
