Informatica Engineer

Qualification

• Minimum 4-6 years working experience in Middleware on

  Linux.

• Working experience in Linux environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of network topology (three-tier architecture) and cloud computing framework. (AWS or Azure)
• Experience upgrading/patching application hosted on Linux Platform.
• Working experience with Incident management lifecycle and change management lifecycle
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools like

  Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Oracle Linux Automation Manager (OLAM).

• Experience in

  Cloud computing platforms (AWS, AZURE); deep understanding of Cloud Networking and Security concepts.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must
• Goal oriented individual with ability to multi-task and work on concurrent projects, meeting client expectations and deadlines
• Independent, resourceful and ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment

Responsibility

• Participate in providing 24X7 support and administrating Oracle Linux hosted systems
• Must work in shift rotations (APAC and US hours)
• Manage system as a portfolio. For example, tracking and managing work plan for the systems to ensure we meet key deliverables and communicating to stakeholders.
• Onboard and administer business applications in both cloud (AWS) and non-cloud infrastructure. Also working with technology groups to set up

  AWS and/or Azure

  native services.
• Interact with various technology groups within our company to investigate and resolve issues.
• Work to ensure systems are of latest patches, product version and work to achieve zero-security vulnerability.
• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts to maintain operational efficiency. For example, logs archiving, Application monitoring, and, automation of manual tasks/email alerts.
• Participate in internal team meetings, scoping, decision making and technical documentation.

Good to Have

• Good exposure of AWS and Azure console and its components
• Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations.
• Strong scripting language knowledge, such as Python, Shell.
• ITIL v3 or ITIL Service Operation knowledge/certification is an advantage
