Job Summary:

The Industrial Welder at Terafac Technologies Private Ltd in Chandigarh is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. The role involves maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring high safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG, and ARC welding on industrial components, machinery, and structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, tools, and machinery following safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Inspect welded joints and components for defects and quality compliance.
• Work with other team members to ensure efficient production and assembly processes.
• Repair or replace defective parts of metal machinery and structures.
• Comply with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow quality standards for materials and welding procedures.

Qualifications:

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certification in Welding or a related field.
• Proven experience in MIG welding (minimum 2-3 years is essential).
• Proficient in other welding techniques such as TIG and ARC.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and protocols.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying environmental conditions.

Skills:

• Proficient in MIG welding as well as other welding tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination.

Working Conditions:

Pay: ₹9,115.28 - ₹20,000.00 per month
