Job Description

You will be working as an Industrial Structural Design Engineer at Pune & Bangalore locations. With 5-10 years of experience and a qualification in BE/B.Tech (Civil), you will be responsible for structural design of industrial structures for projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical sectors. Your expertise in software tools like STAAD-PRO, SAP, and ROBOT SAFE will be crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing and designing steel and concrete structures, designing major structural elements for RCC & Steel Structures, checking fabrication drawings, vendor drawings, and design reports, as well as coordinating with clients and consultants. Your role will also involve leading and managing project delivery teams, reviewing design stages, and providing status reports to internal teams. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of building codes and design standards such as ASCE, ACI, IBC, AISC, and Euro-EN CBC. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and consultants for drawing approval and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines without compromising quality will be essential. Your proficiency in modeling, analyzing, calculating, designing, and detailing building structures will be vital for successful project completion. Your ownership of the team delivery, close collaboration with other departments, vendors, and consultants, and adherence to project schedules will be critical. Your thorough review and comment on designs at completion stages and provision of timely status reports will ensure efficient project delivery. Your role will involve close monitoring of the master time schedule to meet project deadlines effectively.
